Is the donut the new cupcake? Don’t know and don’t care. Just give me a moist baked/fried goody that incorporates lemon curd in some way and I will buy it. I might buy it after I’ve devoured it, but I will buy it.
This morning we started our work day with these donuts from Jelly Modern Doughnuts on 8th Ave in Calgary. I highly approve of both the lemon and PB&J varieties. Maple-bacon was surprisingly disappointing. Yes, I’m talking about what I ate today. Because it was delicious and you can never have too much deliciousness in your life. Go get yourself a donut now.
